Faculty (Mentors)

Lawrence E. Bray - President
Pennsylvania, USA

Lawrence Bray is married with 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy). He is currently an Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Lawrence Bray has several ministries that he is involved with including: Leading Youth Group, preaching at nursing home, working with ministries in Africa to ensure they have Bibles and adequate academic training, occasionally preaching from the pulpit at his local church.

Lawrence Bray has joined TNARS because he is a firm believer in academically rigorous Christian education, and that all should have an opportunity for such education regardless of financial means. His prayer is that TNARS will bring much glory to God as we train up men to minister in His name and that TNARS will advance God's kingdom through education.


Bill Bauerle - Vice President of International Affairs
Arizona, USA

Bill has pastored several churches in the northwest. He has been married for 30 years, has two grown children and four grandkids. He has taught Worldview and Bible honors classes at a high school in Orlando Fl and is presently Director of Coram Deo Study Center in Flagstaff AZ.  Bill is currently a member in a local OPC church.

Having the pleasure of pastoring small rural congregations, Bill is convinced that TNARS can train men for ministry without the debt load that makes pastoring a small congregation tough. The country is full of small congregations that need well trained ministers. Bill's vision is that TNARS would be a resource that can make that happen.


David Petrie - Vice President of Academic Affairs
Washington, USA

David is a Bible teacher and writer. He is an Alumnus of both Moody Bible Institute and Reformed Theological Seminary. David is currently the pastor of CORE Fellowship. Married with three children, David loves to fly-fish alongside his wife Marta.



N.E. BARRY HOFSTETTER - Mentor

Barry Hofstetter is currently the Classics and Bible Instructor for The American Academy. He is also visiting faculty at Reformed Theological Seminary and adjunct faculty at CUTS.

Daniel Elifson - Mentor

Daniel has been a Senior Pastor in the Evangelical Free Church since 1992. He is a seasoned pastor who makes a difference in this world by teaching bold truths about the greatness and grace of God with passion, prayer, and humility.

Jim is an Evangelist in the PCA who serves in the Northwest Georgia Presbytery. He is currently the pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Jasper.


Enrique Ramos - Mentor

Dr. Ramos is currently an addiction counselor and social worker at Verteran's Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Phillip Kayser - Mentor

Dr. Kayser has mentored a number of seminary students and been a Ph.D. reader prior to joining TNARS. He has also been a pastor with the PCA for 22 years.

Patrick Reilly - Mentor
AZ, USA

Dr. Reilly is what the Reformation is all about. Though his religious educaiton was in the Catholic church, God brought him to leave Catholicism and embrace the Reformed doctriines. Since then he has been a Southern Baptist Pastor as well as an Assistant Professor at numerous schools. TNARS believes that Dr. Reilly's unique experiences will strengthen our school.

Coy is currently the Missions Pastor for Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship Church in San Antonio, TX. He is limited to mentoring A.A.T.S. students at this time due to where he currently stands academically.

S. Scott Lee - Local Mentor

Scott is the Pastor of Rockport Baptist Church in Arnold, MO. He is the Adjunct Professor of Humanities and teaches various courses at Missouri Baptist University. He has also done missionary work for HeaertCry Missionary Society.

Jonathan has filled numerous roles including his current positions as Pastor of York Evangelical Free Church and Battalion Chaplain for Nebraska Army National Guard.
